This Saturday while our neighbors were all hitching up their boats and off for the weekend, we had 4200 sq ft. of grass delivered. We started at 6:00 and ended about 4:00. Wayland and Maile came up from Bakersfield to help us. After we put in the grass the kids tried out the new lawn and the sprinkler system!

This was Kaitlyn's first year playing baseball and how fun was that! She was 1 of only 2 girls on the team. At the first of the season she was so shy, but somewhere in the middle she really started playing. At this level the coach's pitch to them and then if they don't hit it in 4 pitches they bring out a tee. Kaitlyn lately hasn't used the tee at all and is smacking the ball off the coach.

This year for baseball Derick is at the level where the kids pitch!!! It is fun to watch. He loves to pitch and is really improving. He says his favorite positions are pitcher, catcher, short stop, and first base.
