School's out!!!!

Today was the first day of the kids break and their first order of business was to make a fort. They made a 2 bedroom house with a playroom. Gotta love them!!!

Kailtyn's violin recital

Kailtyn had her violin recital the other night. She takes lessons from my good friend Amy. She was so cute playing her little jingle bells song.

This is Neil's expression to some of the squeaking. . . I mean playing!!!

Christmas Candy

Making Christmas candy with the kids was a challenge this year with Olivia wanting to be held and help. They all enjoyed licking the bowl out though.

Christmas concerts

I love Christmas music but I am officially done with Christmas concerts, plays, and programs for the year.

Shelves

From the money we are getting from family we are building shelves in our master bedroom for our food storage. We only got to one side and still need to put up the shelves. I'll take more pic's as we go.

Notice little naughty trying to get out of the tub!!!!

Crab!!!!

Our friends gave us an alive crab today!!! We filled the sink with water and it was moving all over the place. It mesmerized and freaked out Olivia and Taylor. Anyways that night we boiled it up and ate it. Me, Derick and Kaitlyn loved it!!!

Had to get a bigger pot because it was too big for this one!!!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

We decorated our home with Christmas decorations tonight for FHE. It is so fun to get everything out and see ornaments that you've had for years and that remind you of the past. So with a little "Alvin and the Chipmunks" and Bing Crosby playing in the background it was a fun night.

There is ONE part of Christmas that I am not looking forward to and that is THIS:

Olivia is into EVERYTHING!!! Lucky for her she is cute!!

Every year after the tree is done they love to dance around the tree and sing that song from the Grinch. . . ha who doree ha who doree blah blah whatever it is.

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that Olivia would not come near.

Scripture Power!

While we read scriptures the little ones will get a book and read sometimes. When James saw them sitting their so cute reading he grabbed the camera. I thought it was sweet!
