Look at all those shiny things. Just to let you know 10 minutes after I took this picture I moved all of the ornaments from the bottom up to the top. The good thing is that she is starting to stand on her won and take 2 -3 steps toward the tree to try to get one.

She was really trying to get those beads off.

Christmas already!!!!!

It is starting to be a tradition that the day after Thanksgiving we get our Christmas decorations out. We started while Olivia was taking a nap and when she woke up she was in awe. It was fun to watch her look at the decorations and also for me to see what I might need to move up higher. Taylor is alot better than last year and was happy to be reunited with her favorite decoration: The Nutcracker.

Thanksgiving

WE had a great Thanksgiving day. In the morning James and Derick went and played in the ward Turkey Bowl. Derick of course had a blast. James had fun too and said he wasn't soar and felt pretty good. But today (day after) he is feeling it just a little bit. James parents came up from Bakersfield for Thanksgiving. Grandma taught Kaitlyn how to make the dressing. Both girls had fun smashing pretzels for a jello salad. I never remember to take a picture of the finished product. Oh well next year maybe I'll do it.

These were 2 art students from Israel coming door to door selling their paintings. They were so nice and Olivia wanted the lady to hold her and not me. So I've been looking for a year now for something to go over my piano that I loved and have never found it. They had a painting that I loved and I bought it. They also through in a beautiful black and white oil painting of Italy that is awesome. Now I have 2 beautiful paintings (though I need to get them framed now) and a great story to go with it. Before they left I asked if I could take their pictures.

Peek a boo!!

Kaitlyn and Derick both got student of the month for November. They were so excited. I only have pic's of Kaitlyn because the day they gave Derick his award I forgot my camera. Oh well his baby book is 3 times larger than Kaitlyn's.
