Derick made the all star team this year and they have a game at the end of the season. He had a good time but we are all glad baseball is over for this year. He said his favorite part was when they announced his name and he ran out from the dugout onto the field. the coach even had them tip their hats to the stands it was pretty dang cute. . . . I mean awesome.
Look how little he looks compared to some of the other players. He says that's good because the short ones are the quick ones, I agree.

That is so true! My brother was always one of the shortest and also one of the best baseball and football players when he was in high school. He never had his height slow him down!
