Splashpark

We went to a splashpark that my friend told me about that we love!!! It is fun for the older and younger kids which can be hard to do. Brett loved the water and was content to sit and splash.

School is STILL in session

Kaitlyn wanted "school teacher" items for her birthday. So we went to the dollar tree and she picked out alot of items. Yesterday her and Derick were so cute putting it all together and teaching Olivia and Taylor. . . . oh and Brett!


Ok look at this adorable table. When they were doing the preschool the were using the train table and piano bench so I went on Craigslist and found a family selling this. He lived 1 hour away but was coming 10 minutes from me to visit family. I picked it up for $40 and VOILA!!!! It is so sturdy and folds down too. I love it and the kids are ecstatic. I also have been meaning to do a magnetic chalkboard in the toyroom forever and so yesterday I did it. I went to home depot picked up the magnetic and chalkboard paint and other things and started it. The kids can't use it for a few days but I'm so excited about it. All I have to do is frame it in corkboard and get some cute accessories for it. LOVE IT!!!

Kaitlyn gets earrings!

Kaitlyn wanted her ears pierced for her birthday so that's what she got!! She wasn't nervous and picked out cute crystal daisy earrings. She is very good at cleaning 3 times a day and twisting them.

Taylor "chops" her hair

I took the girls in for a much needed haircut today. Taylor for the past few months has said that she wanted her hair short but I kind of ignored her. Well today she said the same thing and I thought that her hair might be long enough to do the locks of love. Well we measured and it was except the lady said her hair would be pretty short. So I said let's do it!!! I got busy with entertaining Olivia and then looked over at Tay. She looked so different it made me cry. I went over to her and said that I didn't even recognize her because she looked so different. Taylor thought that was cool and all day keeps saying, "mom can you tell it's me?" "do you recognize me mom?" I think she looks adorable and I'm glad we did it. It's always fun to play around and try new things with hair!

Family Movie Night

Last night we had a primary activity that was a "Family movie night". It turned out so cute and was fun to see the kids expression when they came in. We had a box office where they got their snack bar tickets and movie ticket, then they went to theater 3 where the usher took their movie ticket. Next was standing in line at the snack bar where they got a bag and got to choose from all sorts of candy, popcorn and drinks. WE had the aisle lit up with lights and the projector showing the movie filled the whole wall. It was so fun and the kids loved it. I don't know who had more fun the kids or me and Jill putting it together. Either way we are doing it again soon!!!

Aunt Nae Nae's visit

My sister Janae and her little guy Carter came to visit us for a week. We had a fun time playing and just hanging out. We went to the zoo, shopping, eating and all that good stuff. I didn't bring my camera to the zoo buy my friend Kelli has pic's that she'll send to me. . . right Kelli?
